Read MoreDane County’s sheriff is investigating an attack on a jail guard. It happened Friday evening inside the county jail. Investigators say a guard was speaking with a prisoner on the jail sixth floor, when the prisoner then attacked the guard with a ‘makeshift weapon.’ Other guards then rushed-in and rescued the guard. In all, the sheriff’s office says, two guards were injured. Charges in the attack are pending.

It was on Sunday June 9th, at approximately 9:40pm, the Wisconsin State Patrol and the Dunn County Sheriff’s Department responded to a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 in Dunn County at milepost 38eastbound. Upon arrival it was discovered the driver of one of the vehicles, 32-year-old Wenxuan Han, from Baldwin Park, CA was deceased. The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
