American Airlines yesterday said it is adding two new daily flights to Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C.  The first flight is just after 6:00 a.m. and the second flight leaves Milwaukee just after 1:00 p.m. The return flights are at 11:30 a.m. and just before 8:00 p.m. . A lot of Bucks fans may be surprised to learn that Johnsonville was not the Bucks official sausage. That’s changing after the Bucks and Johnsonville announced their partnership yesterday. Johnsonville will become the official sausage of the Milwaukee Bucks. Johnsonville has been the official sausage of the Milwaukee Brewers since 2018 when the company took over and renamed the racing sausages. No one is saying what the official designation will mean for sausages at Bucks games.

WI Favorite Gets New Home

Madison’s giraffe, Eddie, is heading to the zoo in Green Bay to make way for renovations.  Managers at the Henry Vilas Zoo said yesterday they’re going to build a new habitat for tall animals, and to do so they’ve got to move their tallest animal.  There will be a bon voyage party for Eddie from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. Sunday.  Zookeepers in Green Bay are also planning a party to welcome Eddie when he arrives on Tuesday.

Cows Hit the Beach in Port Washington

First it was flamingos at the beach in Port Washington, now it’s cows in a neighborhood.  Video of the cows being herded in a front yard made the rounds on social media this week.  Neighbor Mick Maier said the cows came trotting down the street, and didn’t appear to be in a hurry.  Neighbors were able to herd the cows and keep them in one yard.  The cows belong to a farm about a half-mile away.  Farmers say somebody left

Armed and Shirtless Man Arrested at the State Capitol

A man is in custody after police say he went armed to the Wisconsin State Capitol twice and demanded to see the governor. Capitol Police say the man known as Taco showed up Wednesday afternoon with no shirt, a handgun, which is against the law at the Capitol, and demanded to see Governor Tony Evers. Sheriff Static Continues in Chippewa Co.

There is now a call for Chippewa County’s sheriff to step down. Chippewa County Board Supervisor Rob Teuteberg late Tuesday said Sheriff Travis Hakes should step down immediately. Teuteberg is a former Chippewa Falls Police officer, he said it’s his opinion that Sheriff Hakes is unfit to lead the sheriff’s department.  The county this week released a 100-page report on the investigation into the sheriff, it focused on sexually suggestive memes and complaints that the sheriff is unpredictable.
