One person is dead, one person is missing, and one person is recovering from burns after a fire at a historic Door County bar. Flames gutted Butch’s Bar in Sturgeon Bay early yesterday morning. Officers say 40-year-old Lawrence Lavergne jumped out of the window at the Stoney Creek Hotel when they came to arrest him on Monday. The Central Wisconsin Narcotics Task Force says Lavergne had 11-thousand-dollars worth of meth and over seven thousand-dollars in cash on him when they arrested him. He’s due in court for a hearing later today.
