U.S. Supreme Court Won’t Intervene In WI Murder Case; New Trial Planned

A Kenosha County man will get a new trial for the 1998 death of his wife.

The U.S. Supreme Court this week declined to stop the new trial for Mark Jensen.  The Wisconsin Supreme Court ordered the new trial last spring after deciding prosecutors shouldn’t have used voicemails and a letter from his former wife in the case against him.  Jensen was originally convicted back in 2008, he’s maintained his innocence the entire time.

There’s no word when his new trial may begin.
