Lawmakers Look to Pass Limits On UW Curriculum

Republicans in the Wisconsin Assembly are sending a message to the University of Wisconsin about race and politics on campus. 

State representatives yesterday passed new limits on teaching critical race theory at UW schools, and passed a plan they say will prompt free speech at campus events.  Neither plan is likely to become law.  Governor Tony Evers is expected to veto them both as soon as they reach his desk.
