Biden Transition Moves Forward

It looks like President-elect Joe Biden’s transition can finally begin.

The head of the General Services Administration just signed off, more than two weeks after the race was called.  Her refusal to acknowledge Biden as the winner was holding up his team from accessing critical information and resources.  President Trump tweeted his thanks to her, saying his case “strongly continues” and they’ll “keep up the good fight.”

Meanwhile, President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in Michigan is now official.  The state’s board of canvassers voted to certify results, showing Biden won by about 154-thousand votes.  It’s a blow to President Trump as he continues to claim voter fraud, saying the election was stolen from him.

Georgia became the first contested state to certify Biden’s win on Friday.  Pennsylvania has also started the process, with Philadelphia voting tonight. Wisconsin’s recount in Milwaukee and Dane Counties continues.
