Feed My People Food Bank in Eau Claire is expanding its ability to deliver food across west central Wisconsin thanks to a major donation from Marshfield Clinic.
The clinic donated 85-thousand dollars to help purchase a refrigerated van that will transport perishable food to surrounding communities.
Feed My People distributes food through a network of more than 250 hunger-relief programs across the region.

Organization leaders say the new vehicle will help safely deliver fresh food to local pantries and meal programs while reducing food waste.
Officials say the partnership is aimed at strengthening efforts to fight food insecurity throughout western Wisconsin.
