Pop Up Walk Urges Mental Health News | October 2, 2023 | 0 | by Morgan McCarthy Mental health advocates in Eau Claire spent their weekend walking, and raising money. The Chippewa Valley’s National Alliance on Mental Health held a pop-up walk this weekend in Carson Park. NAMI’s Barb Habben says in addition to raising money, they want to raise awareness. She says one in five people will deal with a mental health issue in their lifetime, and says more people are shaking the stigma of mental health.
