Mental health advocates in Eau Claire spent their weekend walking, and raising money.
The Chippewa Valley’s National Alliance on Mental Health held a pop-up walk this weekend in Carson Park. NAMI’s Barb Habben says in addition to raising money, they want to raise awareness. She says one in five people will deal with a mental health issue in their lifetime, and says more people are shaking the stigma of mental health. Nanny says it’s raised more than eight-thousand dollars from the walk so far. CLICK HERE TO SEE THIS STORY WITH OUR PARTNERS AT WEAU 13 NEWS.
