Officer Emily Breidenbach’s former K9 partner has a new job with a new police force.
The police department in Wautoma yesterday said it has adopted K9 Officer Grizz. Breidenbach was gunned down on the job back in April while on a traffic stop in Barron County. She and another officer were shot and killed by a wanted suspect. Grizz will partner with Wautoma’s school resource officer and will serve as a therapy dog.
