On Sunday, August 29th, 2021, at about 2PM the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one motorcycle accident in the Town of Lincoln near S1979 State Highway 88.
Upon the arrival of first responders, Julio Castillo, age 56 of South Saint Paul, was located laying in the northbound ditch. Crash investigation indicated that inexperience operating a motorcycle, speed and failure to negotiate a curve were contributing factors in the crash. Castillo was flown to Mayo of Rochester with severe injuries. Castillo’s 2004 Harley Davidson XL1200 suffered damage on all areas of the motorcycle.
