Local Economy Gets Federal Boost

Eau Claire is getting some federal money to recover from economic fallout caused by the pandemic.

County Administrator Kathryn Schauf told PBS Wisconsin the county will get about 20-point-three-million-dollars from the federal government.  She says the money will be used to stimulate the community through public health, social services, broadband, and public schools projects. She called the funding a significant investment into the local economy.
