There could soon be better internet access across Western Wisconsin.
In a news release, the Public Service Commission says it approved nearly 60-grants to expand broadband statewide. There were 19-projects granted funds in Western Wisconsin. Three projects were awarded in Eau Claire County and two were awarded grants in Chippewa County.
