The governor is trying to find support for his state budget that would raise taxes and spend more than a billion-dollars more than the current state budget. The governor told small business owners yesterday that his investments would help the state recover from the coronavirus. Republican lawmakers have made it clear, however, that the governor’s budget is dead on arrival.
