Tasha Lee Scribner, 42 years of age, from Mellen, WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 4th offense.
On May 25, 2026, the Wisconsin State Patrol and Ashland County Sheriffs Department responded to a two-vehicle crash on Hwy 13 at Peeksville Road. During the crash investigation, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper observed the driver of unit 1, Tasha Scribner, showing signs of impairment. A subsequent investigation, including standardized field sobriety tests, showed Ms. Scribner was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
Ms. Scribner was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Ms. Scribner was subsequently arrested for operating while under the influence 4th offense and transported to a local hospital for an evidentiary chemical test of her blood.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
