Billy Oldenburg, 37 years of age, from Chippewa Falls has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 6th offense.
On May 25, 2026, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper conducted a traffic stop for a speed violation on Hwy 53 near the Village of Lake Hallie. Upon contact, the Trooper observed the driver, Billy Oldenburg, displaying signs of impairment. A subsequent investigation, including standardized field sobriety tests, showed Mr. Oldenburg was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
Mr. Oldenburg was subsequently arrested for operating while under the influence 6th offense. Mr. Oldenburg was transported to a local hospital for an evidentiary chemical test of his blood
