Triple-A says the average price at the pump in Wisconsin is 2.69 a gallon today. The national average is 2.88. The highest average prices are posted in Pierce-St. Croix County at two-87 a gallon and Eau Claire at 2.80. Drivers are paying two-77 in La Crosse, 2.65 in Green Bay, Janesville, Sheboygan and Madison and 2.59 in Appleton.
