The latest coronavirus snapshot in Wisconsin shows more good news.
The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday reported just 324 new positives and a seven-day positivity rate of under two-and-a-half-percent. DHS says 275 people are in the hospital with the virus, of them just 71 are in the ICU. Wisconsin had more than a thousand people in the hospital with the virus at the worst of November’s peak. There are hiccups in the get up.
Wisconsin missed the deadline for its coronavirus vaccine website. The site, which is supposed to help people find an available dose and make an appointment, was supposed to launch on Monday. The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday said the website is experiencing technical delays and glitches. There is no word just what is wrong with the hub. DHS says it hopes to launch the website by Friday.
