A northern Wisconsin man is facing charges for a wreck in February that killed a six-year-old girl and left her four-year-old sister in the hospital.
Prosecutors in Waushara County yesterday filed charges against Carl Mullenix. Investigators say he passed a school bus as it was stopped and hit and killed six-year-old Maryana Kranz. Mullenix said he swerved to avoid hitting the bus. Police say he was speeding before hitting Kranz and her sister.
