The ECASD School Board will host an Interested Candidate Informational Session on Thursday, November 19, 2020, 6:30 p.m. at the Administration Building, 500 Main Street.
Presenters will be Dr. Tim Nordin, School Board President, and Steve Weld, Attorney.
The event is intended for those interested in running for School Board during the Spring 2021 election. Dr. Nordin and Mr. Weld will discuss the role of the Board, its governance structure, and provide instructions on how to run for office. The School Board will have three seats open for election including two three-year term seats, and one one-year term seat. Election materials will also be available including all necessary forms.
While the session is being held in-person, social distancing will be maintained, and masks are required except for those with medical exemptions.
