COVID-19 in Crosshairs For Local Health Departments

Public health managers in Barron County are asking deer hunters not to come north this year.

County Public Health Specialist Sarah Turner says the risk for coronavirus is just too high. She says Barron County has reported 531 positives in just the past seven days. Barron County, along with other parts of western Wisconsin, draw plenty of hunting tourists each year. It’s not the hunting she’s worried about, it’s deer camp.
