Park Falls Police are mourning the death of a fellow officer.
Officer Mark Richter died suddenly at home on Sunday. The 25-year veteran of the department served most of those years as a DARE officer and also served two years with the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office. The department says Richter died from an unforeseen medical event.
