A Green Police officer is recovering after being stabbed while investigating two murders.
Police were called to the scene at an apartment in the 500 block of Clement Street last night where they found a man dead in the hallway and another dead inside the apartment. Investigators identified a suspect and then located his vehicle which started a pursuit. The suspect crashed the car, took off on foot and was captured during a struggle, but not before stabbing one officer in the face.
