The Rose Bowl just got serious. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers yesterday took to Twitter to challenge the governor of Oregon to a bet on today’s game between the Badgers and the Oregon Ducks. Evers is wagering a six pack of Spotted Cow. Oregon’s governor is putting-up a bottle of Oregon wine. The two teams face-off today in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
The Wisconsin Badgers are hoping to end their Rose Bowl losing streak. Wisconsin hasn’t won the big New Year’s Day game since 2000 when they beat Stanford 17-9. Wisconsin plays Oregon today.
The two teams met in the Rose Bowl back in 2012, but Oregon won that game 45-38. Kickoff is 4 p.m. today.
