The political world is coming to the Midwest next summer. Democratic leaders yesterday announced Chicago will host the 2024 Democratic National Convention. The DNC will come one week after the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. Democrats chose Milwaukee for their 2020 convention, but the coronavirus canceled it. There is some hope that a Chicago DNC will spill over into southern Wisconsin. Hotels and restaurants in and around Kenosha are the most excited.

The Green Waste Facility located at 5710 Jeffers Road will open for the season on Saturday, April 15, 2023. The facility will be open Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00am-6:00pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00am-3:00pm.
