As many head home from Memorial Day travel, Wisconsin gas prices remain higher than they were this time last week. Triple-A says the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in the Madison area is three dollars and 51 cents, up eight cents from last Monday. The statewide average is a little higher, three-53 a gallon.

The State Patrol says 30-year-old Brandon Nabok of Eau Claire was riding his motorcycle when he crashed into another car that was turning on to the highway. The other driver was not hurt.
