Convicted Murderer Set to be Sentenced

The woman convicted of killing, then dismembering her boyfriend after a day of drug use will find out her fate later today. Taylor Schabusiness is due to be sentenced in Brown County Court later this morning. MKE, US Marshals Report Arrests

Milwaukee Police and the U.S. Marshals end the summer with the arrest of more than 250 violent criminals in the city. Milwaukee Police yesterday announced the hall from Operation North Star 3. It’s part of a nationwide crackdown on wanted fugitives. Investigators say this summer’s arrests closed 417 warrants, including 37 for murder, 75 for assault, and 26 for weapons offenses. ECFD Looks to Hire

They’re hiring at Eau Claire’s fire department. Chief Robert Haller says they need to replace some firefighters who retired, and replace some who just left. Eau Claire’s recent tax increase allows the city to hire six firefighters, but a grant from the Department  of Homeland Security will allow them to hire six more. WI Deputy Arrested On Multiple Charges

On September 21, 2023 Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office Administration learned of allegations of possible domestic abuse by a Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputy. Due to the nature of the allegations the Polk County Sheriff’s Office was asked to investigate.
