This year’s winter El Nino will be the most severe since 2015 in Southern Wisconsin. National Weather Service Milwaukee Meteorologist Cameron Miller says an El Nino of similar strength comes around southern Wisconsin about once every decade. Before 2015, comparable El Ninos have made appearances in 1997 and 1982.
