Chippewa County Health Director Angela Weideman says active coronavirus cases are rising week-to-week. Since last week, cases have risen 57-percent, keeping the county’s risk level severe. There were two more deaths in the county bringing the death toll to 13 when last week there were just six. Weideman says 18 people are currently hospitalized.
