Northwest Park is packed and tracked for snow skiers to hit the trails this winter. The Eau Claire Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department says Carson Park is packed, but there’s still not enough snow to lay any tracks down. The city is grooming several parks to make way for snow ski trails.

They spent last week in Washington, D.C. guarding the Capitol as part of Joe Biden’s inauguration. Commanders say there were no problems during the mission. The troops were originally supposed to be a support force but were called-in to protect the Capitol instead.

The last time the numbers were that low was back in mid-September. Wisconsin’s coronavirus numbers have steadily been falling since their peak back in November.
