UW-Madison’s new chancellor isn’t saying much about opposition from Republican lawmakers. Lasry originally missed the Monday deadline but was recently granted a 90-day extension after asking for more time to file. Prosecutors and the defense yesterday picked a jury in 20-year-old Khari Sanford’s trial. Police say he kidnapped, then murdered his then-girlfriend’s parents in March of 2020.
