Wisconsin gas prices continue to drop after Christmas. According to Triple-A, the average price for regular unleaded in Wisconsin is two dollars and 95 cents per gallon. That’s down three cents from last week and down 15 cents from last month. Wisconsin gas prices are over 30 cents lower than the national average.

No one was hurt, but all 139 people who live inside are now homeless. Police say the fire happened at a building on West Wisconsin Avenue, just across the street from Marquette University High School. Police say a 19-year-old is in custody in the case.

Last week she said was pausing her campaign for lieutenant governor, now she says she’s running for Milwaukee mayor. Taylor told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that she’s ‘getting in’ to the race to replace Tom Barrett. Taylor is joining a crowded field. Voters will decide on a Democratic candidate in February. Barrett resigned last week to become ambassador to Luxembourg.

Just over three-point-six million people in Wisconsin have gotten one dose of the coronavirus vaccine. A little over one-and-a-half million people have gotten a booster shot.
