Drivers looking to get around Milwaukee ran into some delays after a pair of shootings on the interstate over the weekend. Milwaukee County’s sheriff closed parts of I-43 and I-94. A man was injured in the shooting on I-94 late Saturday night. There were no injuries in yesterday’s shooting on I-43. The sheriff’s office says they are looking for suspects in both cases.

Read MoreA suspect is convicted of federal sex trafficking charges. The Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division made the announcement after Corey Hereford’s four day trial concluded Thursday. The 50-year old Beloit man was convicted of several charges including sex trafficking, sex trafficking of a minor and more. Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke says Hereford targeted and exploited young women, one of whom was underage who were addicted to heroin for his sex trafficking enterprise. Hereford’s sentencing date is May 12th.

Yesterday, former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman filed his petition in Waukesha County calling on the courts to enforce the subpoenas he issued for documents and testimony from several officials including Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway and Elections Commission chair Ann Jacobs. Gableman’s petition also says whoever doesn’t comply with the subpoenas should be “incarcerated until such time as they comply.”
