WI Sees Political Action

There is political action in our state today.

On one side, Wisconsin Republican Party’s state convention is underway this weekend in Middleton.  The Democrats are expected to do the same with their state convention scheduled on June 26 and 27 in La Crosse.  The partisan primary election in Wisconsin is August 9th.

There was a political visitor to our state as well. Senator Elizabeth Warren makes a whistlestop visit to Madison.  The Massachusetts Democrat made use of the word Friday during a visit to Garver Feed Mill.  Warren discussed the need to fight to preserve a woman’s right to choose.  She was also campaigning for Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes who is making a run for U.S. Senate.

The primary election in Wisconsin is in August.
