Starting next year Lacrosse will be an official high school sport in Wisconsin. Today the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Board of Control unanimously approved sanctioning boys and girls lacrosse starting in the 2023-2024 school year. A judge yesterday sentenced Elizabeth Durkee to life with the possibility of parole. Durkee admitted that she killed her grandmother last year to keep her from returning to a nursing home.
