A $50,000 Powerball winning ticket was sold at Pick N Save on 6760 W. National Ave. in West Allis for the Wednesday, August 16 drawing. The winning ticket matched four of five numbers (9-11-17-19-55) plus the Powerball (1).
The West Allis Powerball win is the third big Powerball prize won in August so far. On August 9, a $100,000 Powerball winning ticket was sold at Kwik Trip in Luxemburg and on August 7, a $50,000 Powerball winning ticket was purchased at Kwik Trip in Appleton.
This is not the first significant win at the West Allis Pick N Save. During the last four years, the Lottery retailer sold winning scratch tickets of $100,000 and $60,000 and in 2019, sold a $63,000 Badger 5 jackpot. In addition, the store has had nine Straight play Pick 4 wins of either $2,500 or $5,000.
Powerball’s top prize is rising again, with the estimated jackpot of $264 million for the Saturday, August 19 drawing.
