More details are emerging from a La Crosse stabbing incident that happened this past Friday night.
Twenty-eight-year-old Ivan Canchola-Garcia is charged with attempted 1st-degree intentional homicide in the incident that took place outside of a home on 16th Street South. According to reports, the victim was the mother of the suspect’s eleven-month-old daughter and was holding the child during the attack. The woman is expected to survive her injuries and the child was not hurt.
