Miss America is returning to her Wisconsin roots.
Twenty-year-old Grace Stanke was in Madison on Saturday for a gala at the UW-Madison campus, where she met with Governor Tony Evers and was presented with a certificate of recognition for her time as Miss Wisconsin. She was crowned Miss America last December. WKOW says the Wausau native plans on returning to Wisconsin to study nuclear energy at UW-Madison.
