Eau Claire City-County health officials are tracking an increase in the number of flu cases in the region.
The health department is not tracking specific cases but is studying trends based on wastewater tracking and hospitalizations. Health officials say it’s normal to see increases in cases of Influenza B in the spring. Influenza B is milder than Influenza A. They remind residents to wash hands frequently to prevent catching the flu.
