After tomorrow, voters won’t be able to use ballot drop boxes in Wisconsin.
The state Supreme Court on Friday ruled that the unmanned drop boxes won’t be allowed in the April or November elections. The court earlier gave voters one last election, tomorrow’s primary, as to avoid any confusion. The court’s conservative justices drove the decision. But this is not the last time the issue will come-up. The Supreme Court is waiting for a case on whether the drop boxes violate Wisconsin’s election laws. A judge in Waukesha County has said there are just two ways to vote in the state, in-person or through the mail with an absentee ballot.
