The sheriff in Polk County says alcohol may have been a factor in a deadly weekend snowmobile crash.
Deputies say a 71-year-old man was thrown from his snowmobile about 11 a.m. Saturday morning. Investigators say the man was on a marked trail at the time. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is helping with the investigation.
