An 18 year old has been arrested for OWI.
Destiny R Kingfisher, from Hayward, has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, with one child in the vehicle under the age of 16.
On Saturday, June 26th, approximately 7:24 PM a Wisconsin State Trooper stopped a vehicle on CTH B in the City of Hayward after observing that the exhaust on the vehicle was defective. The trooper observed signs of impairment and a subsequent investigation, including standardized field sobriety tests, showed that the driver, Destiny R. Kingfisher, was operating the motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance.
Ms. Kingfisher was arrested and transported to the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office where an evidentiary test of her blood was completed. Ms. Kingfisher is being charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a
controlled substance with a minor passenger in the vehicle and possession of THC.
