WI Co. Declares State of Emergency

A state of emergency is in place in Crawford County after a strong rain storm pounded the area.

The county’s Emergency Management officials say nearly a foot of rainfall was recorded overnight Friday causing flash flooding, fallen trees and roads washed away.  A major concern for emergency officials is that more rain is in the forecast for the next few days.  The Sheriff’s office says as of last night state roads in the county are back open but some county roads are still closed.
