Milwaukee’s medical examiner yesterday said 2020 is the deadliest year in the city’s history.
The M.E. yesterday said two weekend homicides pushed Milwaukee’s total for the year to 174. That is more than the previous deadliest year, which was 1993. The medical examiner says homicides are up 70 percent from last year, and adds that Milwaukee could possibly see 220 killings before the year is over.
