The people who were supposed to bring the Democratic National Convention to Milwaukee will end-up losing money.
The DNC Host Committee yesterday said it raised nearly 43-million-dollars for what was supposed to be a four-day extravaganza in July. The coronavirus turned the convention into an IT hub for speeches from other states.
The committee is expected to lose money on the convention, though no one knows what the final price tag will be. Host Committee organizers say they will not charge taxpayers for those losses.
