The man shot and killed by police in St. Croix Falls earlier this month was from Eau Claire.
Barron County’s sheriff yesterday said 45-year-old Terry Treleven answered the door of a local hotel on August 8th with a knife in his hand. Officers shot him when he refused to drop the knife and came at them. Officers then found a woman who’d been stabbed in the room. St. Croix Falls Police acknowledged the shooting earlier this month, but didn’t identify the man who was shot til this week.
