Chippewa Falls is one of ten school districts receiving state funds from the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions for financial literacy classes.
The department of financial institutions and Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction announced Friday the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District received ten-thousand-dollars to help students broaden their financial knowledge. D-F-I Secretary Kathy Blumenfeld said financial literacy is an important life skill for k-12 students. The schools applied and were selected by the Governor’s Literacy Council.
