There’s no end to the debate over Governor Tony Evers’ statewide mask requirement.
Republican state Senator Chris Kapenga said on Capitol City Sunday on Madison TV, Channel 27, that there is no need for a mask mandate because Wisconsin’s hospitals can handle coronavirus cases. Kapenga said it’s unrealistic to think the virus won’t spread. Democratic state Senator Chris Larson said the mask order is necessary to try and slow down the spread.
Larson says his own informal poll shows plenty of support for a mask order.
