La Crosse’s old Post Office could soon be a city market.
City leaders are talking about possibly buying the old Post office on State Street and turning it into a community market or a public safety complex. Right now, La Crosse is willing to buy the old Post Office for a dollar, though there is some talk about paying more if that’s what’s needed to secure the building.
