The YMCA of the Chippewa Valley has added a familiar local nonprofit leader to its leadership team.
The organization has named Sarah French its new Senior Development Director. French brings more than a decade of nonprofit leadership, fundraising and community engagement experience to the position.
French previously spent more than six years as Executive Director of the Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation, where she led fundraising, community engagement and corporate partnerships supporting area students.
She most recently served as Director of Development at the Savanna Institute and previously worked in development for the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association.
At the YMCA, French will lead fundraising initiatives and work to strengthen relationships with donors and community partners.
French says the YMCA has long been an important part of her own family and the community, and she’s looking forward to helping expand its impact throughout the Chippewa Valley.
